“Wow, what can I say. Absolutely amazing polite professional, understanding and everything that goes with a professional business. I brought my BMW e93 to Charlie and business partner Simon today as I had a problem with my roof and closing mechanism. As the car roof is a hard top it locked up and couldn't full enclose. I contacted Charlie and made an appointment to see him. When I arrived I was met with Simon who is Charlie's business partner and friend. Simon and Charlie quickly diagnosed the BMW problem and quickly solved it within less than thirty minutes. Charlie solved the BMW hood problem and Simon had noticed condensation build up on the back quarter of the window and boot area which has the battery and all the electrical components. Once the water was drained from the side panel the car started to dry up. Air was used to expel the remaining water ingress in the car and wiped up with microfibre clothes. The quality of professionalism and politeness was well above and beyond expected from both business partners. The price for the professional workmanship was absolutely excellent and much appreciated. Not only did both Charlie and Simon explain how to keep the sills clean but also the rubber in the hard top which opens and closes the roof, I also got some cleaning fluid and greaser to put on the rubber seals until the order comes from ebay. Not only today did Charlie and Simon from Hoodtech deal with my BMW but I made two very good friends. I've offered to cook something nice when they will come to my home. But most of all these guys are really highly recommended and really know exactly what they are doing, I highly recommend Hoodtech Convertible roof first before going to any main dealers. “Over the last few weeks the folding roof on my 2009 BMW Z4 has been playing hide and seek sometimes it worked sometimes it didn’t and sometimes it just went mad and folded up into the boot and then locked me out. Flashing red lights and bonging alarms every two seconds. So after much grinding of teeth and failed DIY attempts to rectify the problem I did some research via Google and found a company called Hoodtech in Wilmslow owned by Charlie who works on a mobile basis and comes to you. So I phoned and spoke to Charlie what a refreshing change to find a company and man who when I explained my situation and the problems I was having ie a roof that had undergone a personality transplant and then decided not to work at all and then for good measure deadlocked the boot lid too. Charlie patiently listened to my tale of woe told me he would come over the following day. He arrived on time as promised & within 5 minutes the boot was open and the roof problem diagnosed, in fact Charlie already knew what the problem was and had obtained the required micro switch from BMW. Hey presto all working again no alarms roof operation as smooth and slick as ever.
