Charlie Latham-Berry; Director, Senior Technician & Soft Top Installer

Charlie is an experienced and committed individual. He first started repairing convertibles in 2011 for a small firm before venturing out further. Charlie is heavily experienced with soft top installation, diagnosing complex auto-electrical faults, roof hydraulic systems and frame transplants. He very much enjoys repairing complex convertible roof faults that really get his brain working! In his spare time he enjoys skiing, mountain biking, camping with friends/family and computer building/tech.

Steven McMillan; Technician & Soft Top Installer

Steven is a hard working and loyal individual with excellent attention to detail. He is experienced with soft top installation, diagnosing roof faults, roof hydraulics and replacing parts on convertibles. Steven qualified in level 3 light vehicle maintenance at Trafford College many years ago to give him the foundation of vehicle knowledge today later refined by his service at HoodTech. In his spare time Steven enjoys mountain biking, skiing and camping with friends/family.

Glenn O’Mara; Administration, Parts & Service.

Glenn is an enthusiastic and keen individual, he manages and coordinates the parts/service department here. In his spare time Glenn enjoys camping with friends, swimming/paddle boarding in lakes & quality time spent with friends and family.

Our Story

At HoodTech we set out to develop a business that was able to accomodate for a vast but largely unknown area of the automotive industry. As manufacturing & technology pushes forward, the complexity of vehicles increase. We couldn’t rely on the legacy of previous companies for the development of our business so naturally we challenged the conventional formula & created a fresh, modern approach.

With our contemporary knowledge of these vehicles, this enables us to provide a vast range of services dedicated to convertible roof repair. Today, we continue to develop & grow along with the rapidly changing automotive industry. HoodTech are always one step ahead.
